The hinged mechanism snaps shut with a single motion and stays locked throughout the day without adjustment.

Diameter makes a significant difference at this placement. MADAJ septum rings are available in 6.5 mm, 8 mm, and 9.5 mm inner diameter, with a standard post diameter of 1.2 mm (16G). A smaller diameter sits close to the nose for a subtle look. A wider diameter drops slightly lower and frames the face more deliberately.
